Return on August 3rd
Now that the World Cup is over.
Congratulations to Spain, the world champions!
I am so glad Spain won. If Argentina had somehow won that game on penalties, it would have been an absolute travesty considering the way they played the entire game and how dominant Spain was.
My prediction of France winning it all was absolutely WRONG! They got outplayed and dominated by Spain in the semis.
Anyway, it is back to my everyday normal. Which means the newsletter will be returning. But not this week; it will return on August 3rd.
I have so much to say cause so much has happened. Trump has gone full Trump:
Imposed tariffs (AGAIN) that will eventually get eliminated by the courts.
Iran “deal” like every other deal fell apart
Tried to make the World Cup about himself
Called LeBron a racist
Corruption continues to run rampant by Trump and his administration officials.
The economy is still in a very precarious position:
Inflation continues to be a problem, shoutout to Trump for the Iran war and tariffs
The labor market is showing good signs but only in one sector (say it with me): Healthcare.
AI data center buildout continues to be the largest driver of economic growth, and that is showing some weakness
Then, on the other hand, the stock market ain’t ripping like it did to start the year but continues to grind higher:
AI has become more of a limiting factor for investments
SpaceX is crashing back to earth (as expected)
There is no help coming from the Fed with rate cuts.
To top it all off, we are about 100 days away from the midterm elections.
So yeah, there is a lot to talk about. Glad I took some time to regroup.
See y’all on August 3rd.
Generosity is still greater than greed!
